Our cattle are an Angus / Simmental mix. The quality of Nieslanik Beef's meat is a direct reflection of the care with which we treat our cattle. In the winter and spring, our herd feeds on a mixture of hay we grow and put up each summer. During summer and early fall, Nieslanik cattle graze high nutrient vegetation in the beautiful high country surrounding Carbondale, Colorado. They come home happy and healthy in the fall and we finish them on our unique mixture of homegrown grasses and grains. They are full sized and ready to go after their second summer in the high country and their fall finishing at home on Nieslanik Ranch.
